Contract Term sha256 BTC contracts (applicable from 15.06.2018)

5 years (60 Months) of continuous miningYour mining services will run for 5 years, period - even in cases where your daily mining output falls below the Maintenance Fees. This way, you will always have the potential to produce cryptocurrencies as market conditions improve. The daily mining outputs are variable and are determined by three factors: the mining difficulty, the Bitcoin vs USD exchange rates, and the Maintenance Fees (these include all electricity, cooling, development, and servicing costs).

We cannot control the first two factors which are unpredictable, but we do always deploy state of the art mining technology, and do our best to keep our data centers running at their maximum capability for you. You can find more in-depth information in our Customer Service Center.

sha256 BTC contracts Maintenance fee (applicable from 15.06.2018)

A fixed maintenance fee is deducted from all 5 year contracts for their full runtime. Current maintenance fees: USD 0.14 per TH/s per day.
Please note that the fee is fixed in USD but deducted from the daily payouts in BTC. Please refer to the Terms of Service for further details.

Genesis - Mining (GM) Terms: What does “Open-Ended” contract mean? (Applicable to sha256 BTC contracts prior to 15.06.2018)

The specific duration of an Open-Ended contract is variable and determined by three factors:     I. The mining difficulty, the Bitcoin vs USD exchange rates and the maintenance fee (This includes all electricity, cooling, development and servicing costs).

We cannot control the first two factors which are unpredictable, but we do always deploy the latest mining technology, and do our best to keep it running at their maximum capability for you.

In the event of a contract becoming unprofitable (i.e. the payout can’t cover the maintenance fee), the resulting daily payout will be zero. I. After that, the contract will continue to mine for 60 days. This means that we will take care of the maintenance fee in the hope that your contract becomes profitable again. This may happen if the mining network difficulty decreases and/or Bitcoin price increases.

If the Genesis Mining (GM) computation contract is no longer viable in this period it will be terminated because the mining machines are consuming resources (electricity, cooling, hosting, servicing, etc.) which cannot be paid with their generated payouts. As a market leader GM over the past two years have been able to reduce their maintenance fees by 20%. Example Bitcoin (BTC) maintenance fee as provided in the GM Terms of Use is USD $0.28, per TH/s (Applicable to sha256 BTC contracts prior to 15.06.2018).

By accepting these Terms of Use, members understand and accept the risk associated with buying crypto currency mining computation power and have made a conscious informed decision to mine Bitcoin in accordance to these Terms of Use without recourse to SGG or its directly associated companies and Affiliates. Members also understand their other option is purchase Bitcoin (BTC) or other altcoins outright through other third-party exchanges.

(Note: New Golden Life DMCC nor Royal Golden Enterprise GmbH do not sell or store Bitcoin or any altcoins on behalf of our Members).

We do not and cannot promise or guarantee any given results as this will vary depending upon the crypto currency pricing, difficulty rate, demand and supply, operational costs such as Electricity, Cooling, Maintenance and Hosting Services.
